When are trash & recycling pickups?
The City of Temple picks up garbage/recycle each week. One day is for garbage and one day is for recycle.  See brochure (route map)

What recycling items can I recycle?
The City of Temple has provided each residential home a green 96 gallon recycling cart. All recyclables may be combined in the cart, making it easier than ever to recycle.

The curbside recycling program, also known as “single stream recycling”, allows valuable resources to be diverted from the landfill. You can now recycle paper, junk mail, magazines, most plastics (#1 through #7), aluminum and steel cans, and boxes, such as cereal, cookies, crackers, etc.

There are restrictions! For full details on what to recycle, see the full brochure.

Another up to the moment resource is the Temple, Tx Curbside Recycling Facebook Page

When does the city pick up bulk items in Lakewood?
The City of Temple picks up bulk items twice a month.  See brochure (route map)
